Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee all commissioning activities for FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant start-up, operation, and handover to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute commissioning activities for FPSO topside, hull, and marine systems in accordance with project schedules.
Ensure all commissioning work meets project specifications, safety standards, and class/flag state requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, and shipyard teams to achieve commissioning milestones.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical and operational issues during commissioning.
Oversee preparation, review, and submission of commissioning procedures, punch lists, and handover documentation.
Technical Expertise
Extensive knowledge of FPSO systems, including process, utility, marine, and safety systems.
Strong background in industrial commissioning processes for offshore oil & gas facilities.
Familiarity with international safety regulations (OSHA, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO standards).
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams and complex offshore interfaces.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years’ commissioning experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on FPSO or similar offshore oil & gas projects.
